G Fairways Founder was fed up with high initiation fees and paying monthly dues for only being able to play golf April - Sept in the Midwest. He was tired of paying for club food that he didn't like. He was tired of how long it took to play.  He was tired of the range being closed. He was tired of checking the weather.  He was tired of the stuffy old fashioned rules that went along with his private club membership. His public course options weren't much better. Inexpensive courses were poorly maintained and very slow. Well maintained public or resort courses often cost $100.00 or more to play and are usually very slow.
